I would give the Big BRO 5 stars but I think the knife is a little light. I know they want to keep the weight down and all that. With that said this my second BIG Brother and my 11th Ka-Bar. I own a lot of knifes swords and battle axes. from 800.00 each on down. You can't go wrong for the money.

The knife itself is excellent. Big, but not too hefty to wield easily; what I expect from Ka-bar. But, why I only gave it four stars is because I discovered the sheath was made in Mexico, and had a small cut in the belt loop. This doesn't hinder its use at all, but it's very disappointing.

The blade was ever so slightly bent when it arrived, but besides that, this is a fantastic knife. I would recommend the plastic handle though, as this one gets a scuffed/frayed look if it gets oil on it from when you clean it.
