And since I’m playing with a POS 30W Randall bass amp here in my apartment, having this and the American have lifted my sound to a whole new level when I play. Both of the Joyo’s have knocked pedals worth 2 or 3 times as much off of my board.

That Joyo American is one of my favorite purchases in the past year. Huge power for such a great price. The whole series is worth checking out, fantastic pedals

Amp Back Up

I use it to control the tones when playing in different rooms while using my Boss Katana 100. If I change a setting on one bank of the Katana and switch banks, it reverts back to the original setting. I use the JOYO as a back up D.I. for my amp and a global EQ.

Cab/IR simulation pedal?

I Bought a Joyo American sound last week and it’s probably the best value thing I’ve ever bought. No joke.

Poor quality control

Pedal was non-functioning when I received it. I took off the battery cover and saw the footswitch had separated. I was able to reassemble the footswitch and it is working for now. Pedal sounds good.

What is your favorite budget/low-cost pedal?

Joyo American Sound.

I use it as my "amp" when I record quick song demos on Logic; honestly in the mix I would think it was my Deluxe Reverb.
