I also highly suggest this board for anybody that's a surfer, whether you've snowboarded or not.

I damaged it this last season and am looking at new boards for this upcoming season. I have a powder board ( The Jones Mind Expander) but want another all mountain / park-ish board. The Damage wasn’t covered by warranty but they offered me 40% my next board so I’m definitely going with Capita again. I am 6’2, 165 lbs, size 11 feet and my main mountain is Mt.

Lots of time spent on a variety of boards, but this season I picked up a Jones Mind expander, and my mind has been expanded. My usual areas to ride are steep moguls/trees, because that is generally where people have difficulty going and the snow stays a little longer for those that venture in. The mind expander is unlike any board I have ridden previously, and frankly took a day to understand its potential before I really started to have fun on it. It is the most responsive board I have ever ridden, where slight adjustments in weighting mid turn produce incredible results.

I ride a Jones Mind Expander Twin, and that thing can butter like no other. Can spin and press that board all day long. Wide enough to lay some carves, short sidecut makes it feel quite agile edge to edge despite the width. (The 3D spoon nose/tail help with rolling into edge transitions).

All three would work. Also take a look at Nitro Fintwin/Pow, K2 Cool Bean, Rossignol Sushi, Jones Mind Expander.

I love Jones so much. I’m picked up the 2020 Frontier on discount and can not wait to shred. The Mountain Twin was in heavy consideration as well. I might even add a Mind Expander to the quiver before the season is up because I love that board too!
