The only gripe i have about the 310 is that the car charger is now sold separately, but other than that i ain't mad at the 310..

Okay, so the speaker is ipx4 rated. You probably can't see that. But yes, it's ipx4 rated

It has a great sound, deep base and good attributes. It's not going to be DJ speaker if you are thinking of getting it for that reason. It does not throw out sound like a decent DJ speaker would. Even Partybox 310 is barely enough for a small party if you are planning to listen to loud music and dance. It will not shake your house, and people will keep coming up to crank up the volume only to find it at maximum level. It does sounds very nice, even hi-fi'ish on medium volume, with nice and deep bass for a speaker that size. On the other hand, you could connect a subwoofer to Pb100 or Pb310 for much better experience.

Can’t beat the sound and especially its bass. But the battery life is only 3-4 hours played at 100%. Not worth dragging around outdoors.

Also, the kickbass is pretty good too. Now heres the thing- i kind of miss a little bit of deep bass. I read that the Partybox 310 has a pretty good deep bass, but its not comparable to the soundboks in loudness. Thats why I'm thinking of buying two Partyboxes to get near the Sounboks volume level with a better low bass performance.
