I watch movies and stream from my hotel room in beautiful sound. I've never been audio inclined at all. Pretty much not a fan of any music, but this JBL flip has really made a bright spot out of traveling. Big bonus too: if you're neighbors in the thin-walled Hampton Inn are bumping uglies, you can just crank some white noise on it.

The Flip 6 is my pick, it's quite an improvement soundwise compared to the Flip 5.

Decent sound, gets pretty loud. However, if you want bass or listen to hip-hop, buy the charge 5 or a different speaker because the bass is really weak. Only buy this if portability is a concern. The JBL app isn't great since it has trouble searching for the speaker
