I own several JBL speakers, my oldest is a Clip 3 (3yrs) I mainly used it at work (cabinetry shop) so I would say It's had some pretty rough use throughout all these years being full of wood glue all the time and sawdust, also I've dropped it a few times (on accident) and it's still going strong. I would use it monday through friday for 8 am up to 4:30 pm, I would get home and leave it charging overnight, no battery issues that I have noticed. Also just about 2 weeks ago I decided to clean it and since it's waterproof I submerged it under soapy water to scrub off all the glue it had built up and all the saw dust from 3yrs+, still working like new no problems 👌.

I would personally recommend the JBL Clip 3 if you don't need banging sound that the neighbors can hear. Don't get me wrong it's pretty loud and I can confirm it's durable and best of all very very dust proof, I used mine at my cabinetry job for a bit more than 3 years and it's still playing strong after all that saw dust and wood glue I've put it through. A few weeks ago I decided to give it a good deep cleaning by taking the grill off of it and sure enough had alot of saw dust in it but it was a very easy clean up since it's waterproof I got some soapy water and it was like new in less than 10 minutes. 100% recommended plus it's very lightweight you can clip onto your belt, or literally anything while working.
