JBL Charge 3: An HONEST Review (2018)

 What's up guys I'm Gino from Modern Accessory Review and today we are

 reviewing the JBL Charge 3. The speaker was first released back in 2016 and

 continues to gain in popularity day by day. A ton of people say that the JBL

 Charge 3 is still the best mid-range Bluetooth speaker in the market right

 now even though it was released two years ago. In this video we will find out

 if the JBL is still the best mid-range Bluetooth speaker in the market.

 This speaker is currently $115 at retail which actually surprised me and is

 extremely reasonable for the speaker. If you know me I always try to find the

 lowest price possible so if you stayed at the end of the video I will have a

 link for the lowest price guaranteed today.

 Alright let's start off with the design of this thing. The Charge 3 has a modern

 and rugged look that seems to always fit in with its surroundings. It has an

 impeccable build to it and has fabric weave on the outside which has been used

 on many other previous speakers. The weave helps a ton with durability and

 grip and gives it an amazing look. The speaker is 9 inches in width and weighs

 1.8 pounds. Now the Charge 3 gets 20 hours of playback time on one charge

 which blew my mind. Most people including myself have gone a full two

 weeks with moderate playback time without having to charge this baby. I

 have really valued the battery life and many other people do as well. But when

 you do need to charge it all you have to do is plug it in with its standard USB

 cable. Also no need to worry when your phone is about to die. The speaker has a

 accessories. That is especially handy for those who enjoy traveling. The Charge 3

 is also waterproof down to 1 meter for 30 minutes and unlike many new speakers

 this guy floats which is another extremely strong move. At the top of the

 speaker you have all the standard button layout with volume buttons, power, and

 Bluetooth. There is also one for JBL connect which allows you to pair up

 multiple JBL speakers that will give you an amazing surround sound experience.

 There is the regular pause and play button as well. If you double click that

 then it will go to the next song but unfortunately you don't get the great

 triple click which means that if you press the button three times it will go

 to the previous track. You only get pause, play, and forward. Now I know the

 biggest reason you're here is because of the sound quality so let's get with it.

 The JBL Charge 3 has incredible sound which is much louder than many other

 speakers and its quality is probably the best in its class. It has deep bass that

 destroys many other portable speakers and has clear crisp highs and lows that

 give the speaker very little distortion at high volumes. The one thing is that

 the Charge 3 doesn't have 360 degree of sound because the speakers are only set

 in the front which means you won't hear it as well when you're at the back of

 the speaker. I think many people look at this speaker and think to themselves it
