 So at the moment i am using the eries et5x or something like that. I can't remember what they're called but or et5xt. To be honest, these sound better to me the personas seem to be more controlled, but these are just a lot more exciting and, like they present everything right to you to the front, i don't know how to explain it, but it's in a very good way. It'S not something that you know was fatiguing or tiring

 Never get to hear what it really sounds like just to get an idea. I have to say these are excellent, like if you're on a budget. This should be the only thing on your list and that's my truly strong opinion. I find this to be an excellent balance between all the frequencies, so great for anybody, studio, youtube, editing and even just listening to music as bookshelf speakers or even entertainment speakers for a tv but i'll definitely say their strongest point is, for you know, mixing music from Your studio, in any case guys, hopefully you enjoyed this view of the jbl's

One (1) nice pair of stationary headphones and one (1) pretty good pair of portable IEMs/headphones is all you need for most circumstances.

2) diminishing returns make totl headphones ridiculously overpriced; their price/performance ratio is abysmal and they won't sound as perfect as auditioners will tell you
3) wine effect: beyond a certain threshold it becomes a matter of tastes
4) terminology: people still use random terms like dynamics, resolution, imaging and so forth without sharing the same definitions. And people keep doing burn-in with their new cans even if clear evidence is still lacking in the majority of cases.
5) placebophilia: people won't survive to A/B tests but still pretend to be rational in what they do prefer or describe.

This also misguides a lot of people including myself. I'd heard for a long time that the Sennheiser Hd600 has sub-par bass and all that but it really doesn't. This has caused confusion and me thinking I'm missing something and I ended up buying headphones that have marginally more bass but everything else being meh in comparison. Listening to Pop and Hip Hop, it has more than enough and importantly it also has punch which a lot of bass heavy headphones lack. The sony WH bluetooth headphones for example sound very good and are very bass heavy but that doesn't mean they have *better* bass as it doesn't punch as hard as the Sennheiser does at times. I'm guessing that might be because of how bass drums are mixed as well as how other instruments are mixed with the low frequencies.

I hate how the industry is moving towards "true-wireless" earbuds and throwing other forms of wireless earbuds out the wayside. How am I supposed to change volume or switch songs if I can't press any buttons and I don't have access to my phone, such as during exercise?

I think there’s a plateau in audio technology and in our hearing capacity that pretty much passing a certain point in the headphones world everything becomes a side grade (this plateau is HD600). But hey we need to get the economy going..

  I've been through it all with these speakers and I think I finally have a set that I are acceptable. At least the power lights are the same. Maybe they just wore me down.  Yes I still recommend them but just be warned, something will be wrong

 Harman Audio being JBL, Infinity, Rockford Fosgate, Harman Kardon, Mark Levinson... All great performing products

I'm rewriting my original review.  These sound great, perform well. The stereo imaging is incredible for the price, they have plenty of power and the clarity and bass extension is uncanny. I've tried a number of speakers on my workstation and these are my favorites

Great Sounding Near Field Monitors

 Oh, these sound way better and you change your mind so around the same size a little bit different in price, not much at all, but hopefully this just helps. You get a better perspective and, at the end of the day, pick the right pair of studio monitors for your studio setup been feeling hopeless. Till you came around came around all this time. You'Re the only reason i'm not chasing hearts chasing eyes: [, Music ]

 And then we also have a boundary eq here that you can use to play around if you want to take out certain frequencies, have them set up a little bit better for your room, it's not close to as good as krk's or kali audios with their unique Designs, but it is something unique and then we also have a high filter trim over here that can go down minus 2 db and go up plus 2 db. When i taste these two monitors, i'm just going to keep it on zero, but it just gives you more options. If you want to fiddle around and set it up better for your specific room again, and then we have our knob here for volume feels pretty good. In terms of quality, and then we have our power input and then right at the top

 Oh, this product sounds better than this one and you might even be the person that have been looking at jbl's for the last week to months, and you thought that these were the monitors for you. But then you end up listening to these and you decide. Oh, these sound way better and you change your mind so around the same size a little bit different in price, not much at all, but hopefully this just helps. You get a better perspective and, at the end of the day, pick the right pair of studio monitors for your studio setup been feeling hopeless

Are JBL Studio Monitors Good For Music Production? | JBL 305P MKII Studio Monitors Unboxing & Review

The first time I listened to an album (Opeth's "Sorceress") was like hearing things for the first time, as I was making out so many more details in the songs, and the sound was just so much more powerful and dynamic. Not shown is the other JBL 305p MkII, serving as my left channel, and the SVS PB-1000, under the desk (which, wow, sits at volume knob of 2 for now, given my apartment living).

Let'S check out the jbl 305p mark ii, 5 inch active studio, monitors, here's a quick look at the box, just hit pause. If you want to read further. The frequency range on these is 43 hertz to 24k, which is pretty broad for smaller speakers. Let'S pop open the box, you'll get a quick start guide and some stick on rubber feet for the speakers, we'll pull it from the box, and these monitors only weigh about 11 pounds each and they come with a power cable

 If this will be your only pair of studio monitors, they most assuredly do not suck that's the jbl 305p mark ii, powered 5-inch, 2-way studio, monitor [ Music ]. You 

 With your audio interface, the default input sensitivity is set to -10, which is perfect for consumer audio gear like boom boxes or tvs, but since we'll be using professional audio gear like an audio interface, i'll switch it to plus 4. now to plug them in we're going To use quarter inch trs cables, take the output from your audio interface to the input of each monitor, turn them on and you'll see the front light illuminate, there's really no way to properly demo. What a speaker sounds like over the internet since you'll be hearing my room and the microphone through your speakers and your room, but we'll use the zoom h6 xy mic, and you should be able to hear the clarity of the center image and the punchy low end. [, Music ] overall, these are pretty great monitors for the money they retail at 99 to 149

No, they don't have as much bass as our larger 8-inch monitors, but the base is clear and punchy and you don't always get that with smaller speakers

 You play whatever. Whatever music you like, usually vocals are the best. It guarantees, when you're in mono that it's gon na come from the center, except when it's not. But it's there if you, if you play music in mono and it's biased

 Make that one more powerful by bringing it closer or push that one further away and I'm gon na go with push this one further away. So you just and I'm talking about like [ Applause, ], [, Music, ], perfect. How much didn't move that 3/16 of an inch? That'S when you're talking about really setting up a desk like absolute perfection, you got ta, be able to set your source to mono, and then you got to just do time and adjustments, don't adjust gains and just get everything gained the same and just go until it Shifts over then, once you have a perfect Center image through, like five or six songs, Chris different frequencies will come out of different drivers and then you'll have just you just make it so that it's like okay - and you know where the center is you're. Not you could just judge that and then once you've found it, then you could switch it out of mono and then you can enjoy your speakers until two weeks from now and you have to run that test again

 I took the HD sixes off the 750 dollar pair of HD sixes and I put the three or five PS on which I think I paid under 404. It'S like they're brand new models, so they're a little bit higher than they old there's the old LS or 305's. We'Ll talk about the shiny, we'll talk about the shiny, we'll get to the shiny. But let's talk about what happens when I put them on this desk for half the cost and then hit play and then just Oh storm on oh look

 But I have a slight speaker collection problem that my doctors are like helping me with. So when I'm done with the review, what I'm done with the sound of all these things go up for sale.
