While it's not as streamlined and sophisticated as the Apple Pencil, it is hard to argue with the value of the JamJake Palm Rejection Stylus. It does almost everything the Pencil does, nearly as well, for a fraction of the price. It's easy to pair with your iPad, and after you set it up, all you have to do is tap the top to turn it on. &#40;That can also make it easy to turn off inadvertently, but we only did that a few times before learning to avoid it.&#41; The pen's palm-rejection technology lets you take advantage of its precision, and we never noticed much of a lag between its tip and the lines or letters we were drawing. All told, the JamJake makes it easy to take clear notes and create detailed artwork. 
We noticed its lack of pressure sensitivity compared to the Apple Pencil and Adonit Note+. The only way to change the thickness of a line with this stylus is through the settings of whatever app you're using. That means you can't vary the line thickness within a single stroke, robbing you of the nuance you can achieve with a graphite pencil or the top-tier stylus options. It doesn't magnetically attach to your device either, and you have to charge it with a USB cord. It's also rigid in a way that feels harsher than the Pencil and much less forgiving than the Note+. Even the company recommends using a glass screen protector to reinforce your iPad. Still, the JamJake offers a killer value for a wider range of iPad devices than the second-generation Pencil. It's an excellent option for anyone who doesn't need a pressure-sensitive stylus.

It looks and feels a lot like the Pencil, though it's thicker, heavier, and has a charging port at the top. That and JamJake recommends that you get a glass screen protector for your iPad. &#40;It does feel heavy and clunky enough to break your screen.&#41; Whereas you just attach the Pencil to the iPad's magnetic strip to charge it, the JamJake requires a USB cord. It also takes longer to charge than the Pencil, about an hour and a half. The  Pencil's pressure sensitivity feature is certainly cool, and it makes a big difference to hardcore artists since it lets you vary the strength of your lines as you draw them. But, it's a jump in price to get those two features. If you don't need them, the JamJake is an excellent option.

I bought my pen to use for working on my iPad. I was not sure if I was going to like using a pen, so I also used this as an opportunity to determine whether or not I wanted to further invest.  The battery tends to last about two weeks with infrequent use. However, it seems that the longer I own the pen the shorter the battery lasts

Overall Ok

 The pen will stop writing in the middle of taking notes. Not very reliable. I do not know if it’s the app I use, notability, or just the pen. I did test it in the iPad notes app and same thing happened so most likely pen :( Seems to work better when it is fully charged

Sweet spot is about 2-3 hours of continuous use with out lagging when taking notes or homework… on a good day /: for the price point you pay may not be worth it for how finicky it is. May be better off with more research or purchasing a refurbished apple pen 😬 just my honest advice

It is difficult to rate this when comparing it to the Apple Pencil. On it's own this is a perfectly serviceable alternative except for one thing, pressure sensitivity. The Apple Pencil immediately is better due to it being able to sense how hard you are pushing down on it. This one cannot do that

 If that is not a problem for you, then this is a good product, but for most people who have an iPad for art, pressure sensitivity is a must. Save up and get the Apple Pencil.

Get an apple pencil if you can afford it

It’s ok… it’s not the best option for hand writing, it doesn’t perform as well with slow writing, or slow strokes, is not as accurate and you won’t have the best experience with it. I’ve used it for a while now and it lags sometimes, like the sensibility gets messed up for a few seconds and you have to erase and write again. But specifically when it comes to writing, is mot the best option. Try to get an Apple Pencil, I will as soon as I can
