This piece up here is called the Archon sensor and this is what's going to has the same sensor on the docking station. so whenever it's ready to dock, that sensor is what's gonna look for this sensor to move on to here to dock

 Of course it was shipped with the owner's guide and it also it came with a little quick set-up guide an extra filter. It comes with this little it looks like a letter opener but see how it's got the little metal piece in there and this will all go into detail about this in a minute. This is for maintaining the Roomba brushes and we'll go over that in a moment. It came with a couple of double-a batteries which is for this mode virtual wall barrier and we'll go on to detail on that in a moment and then this is the docking station and then just to show you it was shipped in this nice box

 This area here is known as the face for here we have the dust bin and filter. Look at that. this is you can see the filter it clips in Like here's the clean filter. So it clips in here, this will pull out and then you can clean off

iRobot Roomba 690 vacuum with Wifi!

I've owned this roomba 690 for a little more than 4 years and the battery can only last for 30 minutes now. I'm leaning towards replacing the battery only but I wonder if the roomba has also reached the end of its life cycle?. If it's better to get a new roomba, would a 694 suffice? Or should I get an i3?

Lastly, the Roomba 690 is noisy, though that's pretty much the case with just about every robot vacuum on the market. You won't want to take any phone calls while the bot is cleaning, but it's no louder than a traditional standing vacuum. 

Battery life is decent. On a full charge, the Roomba 690 lasted about 70 minutes. That was enough to clean my living room, kitchen, hallway, and part of my bedroom. It's much better than the 45 minutes you get with the Dyson 360 Eye on maximum power

So the Roomba 690 is the cheapest Roomba from I Robot. It's based on the old 650 design, which was probably the best-selling robot vacuum of all time, but the 690 is updated in the sense that they added Wi-Fi capability and app controls

 The same with a crevice pickup test where again, robot vacuums tend to struggle with anyway, but the 690 really didn't seem to pick up anything at all. It did have great battery life, though. iRobot says the 690 can get an hour and a half or 90 minutes on one charge, and this was the first robot we've tested that actually outperformed the specs, getting about 99 minutes on one charge. But the downside is that because of the random navigation, it really needs that extra time since it's far less efficient than a smart navigation bot with a more systematic cleaning process

 4. It's good at picking up crumbs and bits of fluff (which show up big time on my dark red carpet), but the suction power isn't sufficient to really clean the carpet thoroughly. That's a limitation of this particular model (other models have better vacuuming capabilities). Keep your expectations low and you'll be happy

 One thing I know is too is the limbus kind of loud so it wouldn't do this at night while you're sleeping. I Would preferably schedule this when you're not home and see it. Did the circle here. It looks like it had area that had a lot of dirt so it does a little circle and cleans it
