Ikea Hemnes Daybed, One year Review

 Hi and welcome back, today I am visiting my friend's apartment and I want to share

 you their experience after having IKEA Hemness Day Bed for one year.

 They put Hemness in this room, this is actually a mix-use room for working, exercise and relaxing.

 The space is not too big but it is enough for Hemness Day Bed.

 You can tell they really think every inch of this room and use it well to put this Hemness

 Day Bed, so why did they choose Hemness?

 Simple, because you can change from this into this, from small to bigger form.

 The process is simple, as you can see it only took a minute to do this, but there is a drawback,

 it is a bit heavy to pull this and a little bit troublesome to pull it back again.

 Here how it looks underneath the mattress, not the prettiest size, but I can say after

 They really take good care of it, mostly smooth, no dents or scraps.

 The drawer is pretty thick, the bottom rail is not from IKEA Luroi, instead it is a solid

 Everything is in mean condition, once again it is pretty strong, solid and thick, so you

 don't have to worry about putting your items in this drawer.

 The only drawback is, I don't like to see this, you can see through the drawer's content.

 It is spacious for 1 person, I can sit easily, lean and relaxing in here.

 It is great for taking a nap, reading and other activities.

 So far, no issue at all if you use it alone, love the look and color, easy to comfort from

 day bed to queen bed size, good build quality and versatile.

 There are 3 drawers, need extra energy and effort to change the bed sheets, it is also

 heavy to pull or comfort day bed to queen bed size, and the size of the mattress is

 a bit awkward, it makes you hard to find a proper mattress.

 The price is Rs 5,499,000 or around $369.

 It looks good, strong, sturdy, with nice build quality, versatile, easy to comfort.

 Taking the right mattress is a hard job, especially if you decide to purchase the mattress from

How do I avoid a shoe pile at the door?

It might be pine/fir, but even that is a huge upgrade over MDF. I have a large old plasma TV on mine, it’s pretty heavy. I strongly think Ikea’s Hemnes furniture really hits the sweet spot of quality and affordability if you can live with the style and are ok with assembling yourself.

We have a ten year old flat screen TV that is heavier than the newer ones . Our cheap Craigslist mdf stand is blowing under the weight. Any recommendations for one made of real wood that doesn't coast too much? For the same weight reason, we don't want to hang the TV on the walls of our old home. I'm neutral to styling, so I'm open to all suggestions. Used ones on Craigslist are priced too high.
