[Request] BIFL sofa brands?

Maybe not the best looking sofas but they look OK/decent. I've had mine for ~10 years and sure the covers are a little worn from washing but I have a brand new set of covers, which I bought with the sofa, waiting in the attic. Anyway; cheap, durable, comfortable and looks decent. Mine is an Ektorp model I believe.

Quality very good - well made

I did not keep it as it did not fit. When I ordered it I was not sure due to the fact my sofa is not an IKEA. It is of good quality and if I had that sofa I’m sure it would have been perfect. I’m still looking for a sofa cover that is as nice that will fit my sofa.😔

Where do you buy furniture if you have to buy new?

I'm a huge fan of the Ikea "Ektorp", because it is affordable, cozy and -most importantly- has changeable and washable covers. Stain you can't get out or damage? New cover, not new couch.

Very happy with this slipcover

This slipcover is not as heavy as the cotton duck fabric that I purchased with the sofa about six years but in the short time I’ve had the new cover it seems very durable. I am very happy with it.

Which sofa is best for romance?

I've had my EKTORP for 10 years now and it's seen its share of boyfriends and girlfriends.

None of them have complained... about the couch anyway! Apparently I don't listen enough...

I had to work hard to make this product fit my sofa. It needs a better product description. I found the fabric stiff and hadto use a throw to make it comfortable.

How long do the couches last?

I’ve had my ektorp couch, loveseat and storage ottoman since 2016. I have 2 kids who have grown up from babies with them, plus 2 dogs for 4 years and another dog from a puppy age for another year+. I’ve gone through a few slipcovers, but the couches themselves are in fantastic condition.

Didn’t fit my sofa, but really sturdy construction and good neutral color. Is it possible to find a durable living room set that I don't need to take a mortgage out for?

I guess definitions of "durable" may vary, but we're at almost 10 years on an Ikea Ektorp - 2 boys under 10 and 2 dogs, Medium & Large. We bought 2 covers and rotate them a couple of times a year - they are just now starting to show some pilling. I'm starting to notice some breakdown in the cushioning on the top of the arms.

Colors off

It fits great and made my leather couch cozy. I was hoping for a cream beige color but it’s more on the grey side so I had to buy new pillows. But great quality.
