Help an Idiot out
Similarly, the reviews I read (and from my limited time on them) said they reward good skiing, really allowing you to drive, carve, etc. but don't punish you for maybe landing a bit backseat, or getting off balance the way some really hard chargers do. Other things in that category: Salomon QST 98, Nordica Enforcer 100, Head Kore 99, Elan Ripstick 96, K2 Mindbender 99, Rossi Black Ops Holy Shred or Sender. Could also look at the Volkl Mantra line.

Advanced looking for best skis optimizing for WC off piste, bumps, trees, chutes etc.
Head Kore 99 in 187. I think it’s actually 102 wide at that length and it’s a great ski for big mtn / Western skiing. I bought the 105 and it’s a good daily driver but it’s 107 under and its a little overkill for the number of powder days I get, but it charges through crud and powder great and handles bumps and groomers well.

One-ski quiver setup for 80% resort / 20% touring?
Highly recommend the market kingpin over the shift. For skis: Volkl Blaze 94 or 106 (very light for a good craving ski) Head Kore 99 (a bit heavier but more stable at speed. Volkl Mantra v werks(amazing but pricy), or Armada Tracer
