I bought this about eight months ago and it still works, still boils water, works lovely, but the lid has broken. The buttons you press in to release the lid to fill it up have jammed inside the top part of the kettle, so when I press the lid down it no longer locks.

Looks like they last 3 to 4 years then die. I dont think thats acceptable. I even bought the extened insurance on this one but cant find it tied to my order.

It was great until it started leaking out of the bottom! Upon doing more research, apparently it’s a problem a lot of people have with this kettle. :(

The product is reliable and easy to use. However the the material the product is made with seems cheap and that it will rust or break easily.
