We like to play it very cooperative where if you draw a thing that you already have, you give it to another player and it encourages sharing and encourages taking turns. So I Definitely recommend Go Away Monsters for super little kids like you can play it starting if you want to help them out and like around age one and then you going up from there really all they have to do is put their hand in a bag and grab things out

This is a great game to start your kids into board gaming when they're super tiny and help them grow a love for board gaming as they get older because Mike is just keep asking to bring this game out over and over and over and even though my son's four and this probably passed this game by now because he can play a little bit more complicated games now. um, he still likes to play Go Away Monster just to pull the monsters out of the bag and scream and excitement when they come out

For 2 year olds just getting into board games I can heartily recommend **Go Away Monster**. It's the perfect intro game for kids. It just works so well and the simple action of pulling out a tile and placing it is so natural for kids to get into. It scales up nicely where older kids can start felling in the bag for the individual pieces

 But if you ever draw a monster which is not this, no, If you ever draw a monster like this, then you say Go Away Monster and you throw it onto the table or like place it gently onto the table because you don't throw game components. So this is a really simple game for toddlers. It doesn't require like rolling dice and waiting for the answer because toddlers like cheating with that apparently and it has good shape matching with with the different shapes. Also in this version, the picture frames have different letters on them

 There's four players so four four letters A B, C and d, apple bird, cat and dog. So there's some letter learning there too. But yeah, Go Away Monster is a great first game for toddlers and I'm really excited that my kids finally played through a full game together and wanted to play the same game, so that's exciting Anyway, I'll keep you updated on future games that they play through. What board type games can your 2.5-3 year olds reasonably do?

My granddaughters, ages 2 and 4 love this game. Easy for them to play and they laugh whenever they pick a monster and throw it in the box.

 they're just gonna have fun screaming the monsters and throwing the monsters cuz as you know, if you get them on so you throw it wherever you want, just get it out of here. But it is. It's a lot of fun. I Played in my classroom quite a lot

 They really do enjoy it, but I will say once they start to get older, you know the game. The game really does die off rather quickly and it's just gonna be like like that where it's like they love the game that it's just like let's play something else. This is a great first game for kids. You can introduce taking turns, following rules, trying your best, sometimes getting what you want, and sometimes taking joy in helping out other people. You draw bedroom furniture and monsters out of bag without looking (but you are allowed to use your sense of touch fully). The game has wonderfully playful art, and the color schemes of the pieces and the bedrooms gives the kids something to have opinions about without there being a clear "right" answer
