 So we're talking about a new helmet for Giro for the 15-16 season, the Ledge.

 Kind of taking that combine shape but now doing it with a hard shell.

 Street and skate inspired as was the combine with a hard shell so it's crazy durable which

 And now this helmet also is going to have MIPS.

 It does actually which is cool because this is, let's call it spade of spade, whether

 you're in the park or out urban, you're going to crash at some point.

 And so there's a couple of different types of crashes.

 One is just the blunt force, the other is the one on an angle that's rotational and

 that's what MIPS, that multi-directional impact system really protects is that two

 milliseconds is the difference to allow that rotation inside to protect your brain.

 And I'll talk a little bit about the fit system with this helmet.

 Yeah, it's called Auto Lock 2 which is cool because it is removable so if you want to

 beanie ties your helmet, everything comes out of this helmet.

 The liner, the fit system, the neck roll, you can do it.

 But it does have kind of like your favorite flex fit, you know, cap, it actually auto

 Really cool helmet from Giro, a lot of great features, MIPS, the hard shell, the combine

 shape which I absolutely love, I love the combine helmet and now offering it in a hard

 shell as opposed to the soft shell is a really cool feature.

I’ve used it twice and it fits well except the ear pads (with speakers installed) are a little snug. Without them it’s great. Hopeful it’ll break in more.

 My mountain bike helmet has MIPS, and I've found out first-hand how well that works, so I have real confidence in the helmet to keep me safe for when I get false confidence in my lacking ability on the slopes. Doesn't look half-bad, either.

Pretty warm on it's own, MIPS works well.

 It’s snug, I have the helmet adjusted as deep as it goes and definitely could not fit a hat underneath it. Doesn’t seem to matter though, the helmet itself keeps me plenty warm. Buy it, it’ll keep your brain where it’s supposed to be.

This helmet was great for my ski trip out west earlier this winter. I liked the look of it and had no issues getting it adjusted with goggles, etc. Unfortunately, my dog was pretty mad at me for leaving him for Colorado and took it out of my suitcase when I got home and tore it up. Great helmet, just don’t let your dog get to it :)

It's warm and fits well. There is only one small way to adjust the size so measure your head before you buy it.

Awesome fit and color. I have a Giro bike helmet and this ski helmet is a bit snug due to the padding but perfect for keeping warm. Highly recommend measuring your head to ensure a good fit.

My size fits within the medium chart, got the medium but it's too small, much too small Don't trust the size guide. Very annoying. Moosejaw, please correct the chart for your customers

Medium is actually smaller

Fits nicely, seems very warm, and I love the look!  Can be worn with or without a hat, as the interior system is adjustable.  Looking forward to having it on the slopes!
