I had so much fun riding this bike today. I can't recommend this bike more.

I got myself a giant trance x. I walk with a cane do to a hip injury I received from a motorcycle accident when I was younger. Over the last year I have lost 168 lbs and wanted to strengthen my leg muscles before my hip replacement surgery. I told my doc I want you to have to work to get to my hip after I put on all this muscles lol.

**Giant Trance X 29 2:** At $3,500 I don’t know why I don’t like this bike more. On paper it’s great with it’s Fox 36 and full Shimano SLX for the drive train.

Mmm just got a trance x 29 2. Awesome bike.

I might get out 4 times a year. I went with a trail (all mountain) bike and couldn’t be happier. Modern trail bikes are pretty rugged and would compare favorably to enduro bikes 5 years back, etc. My Trance X came with downhill tires and wheels that I had change out to be fully happy with the bike on my local XC trails so anything bigger would have been way overkill for my area (Eastcoast near Pisgah).
