I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

I have used the pizza oven 3 times so far and after the first two attempts I couldn't get it up to temperature, the third time was much better.    Also, I can't install the doors to the cabinet, they don't seem to fit properly.  I have emailed Forno Venetzia twice already and received no response. I never post reviews, but this is a large purchase for me, a gift for my retirement

I am seriously thinking about returning the oven.  The customer service of Forno Venetzia is terrible.

This will take some getting used to, especially how long to cook bread. A laser thermometer is essential, and you have to experiment with the door open or closed to control the heat to obtain the best bread color. You may also have to limit the size of the fire depending on how much you are going to bake.

I think this oven is a good value, is built well, and recommend purchasing if you are seriously considering a wood fired oven for your home.

I've built my own wood fired oven and......

On the way up 350 degrees and above when the flame is vigorous,  it is good for things like wings or other thinner ingredients you want crispy on the outside.  As the fire matures it will get to the highest temperature.  I do put on another log when this happens for some extra flame. This is when you would cook pizza, pita's tortillas, flatbed etc

Good Purchase.  Having fun cooking with it.

Design recommendation for manufacturer - Strongly recommend Forno upgrade to full-height, full thickness refractory brick for greater cooking "thermal mass" in/on the oven floor (from the present five, thinner 8"x12" bricks) as no development/engineering needed to implement this upgrade.

Good price/performance & premium finish/options

After assembly the next day we fired it up with some oak and birch hardwood we had around.  It heats up to the cooking temperature very fast.  I recommend an Infra Red Contactless laser thermometer to check the stone temps before moving the wood over to the left side.  The oven does get warm but not so hot on the outside it would cause an immediate burn
