So I happen to have been going through my notebook collection as every office supply junkie has and I started noticing that I have three different varieties of these Reporters Notebooks or evidence note and I think it was about time that we do a little mini review on them. Let's start off by talking about these Ampad brand Reporters notebooks

 This is meant to be taken in a bag, and that really lessens the appeal for me. I'd honestly find it pretty difficult to use these for the intended purpose—scribbling quick notes on the go—simply due to the size. They're not portable in the way I'd want a reporter's notebook to be and they're harder to hold with one hand while writing with the other than I thought they'd be. It's unfortunate also that these don't have a reinforced back cover for a harder writing surface, which would've been appreciated for writing on the go and while standing

Great design, but I wish they were smaller.

It's a great F&B server notebook; the cover is nicer and more durable than standard reporters notebooks and the pocket in the back is perfect for holding credit card printouts. The fun info tidbits are amusing, and the blue band holding the 2-pack together has a truly hilarious quotation that every server will understand. My beef? All that hipster ephemera is a value-add that can't be justified by the cover price. No pun intended

OK, always a new gimmick. In the world of paper products, we are accustomed to "sheets".  Voila by saying "pages" this manufacturer overstates the quantity by 200%. Good quality, but how useful is a notebook with only 35 sheets of paper in it?!?! For that price this product is just not worth the difference
