No need to worry about pedals if you get one of these, they're built right in.

They are an impressive series of modeling amps and their prices start at just $100 for the Mustang Micro, which is a headphone amp that attaches directly to your guitar. Twice now, I've tried to purchase it from my local Guitar Center and it's been out of stock. There is also a Fender Mustang that sells for $150. I can't remember the power, but I think it's 20 W.

Look at the Fender Mustang Micro amp. $99, everywhere, and you can plug in headphones via a 1/8” stereo plug. It also has effects, and an interface for recording on a computer.

If it’s your first amp I’d go for a quality modeling amp. Fender Mustang, Boss, Roland, Positive Grid, etc. you can find what you like along with fx. If you really prefer the sound of something you can spend more and get a tube amp.

This isn't 2010... You don't have to choose. Modeling/combo amps like the Fender Mustang, Yamaha THR, Boss Katana, etc. are real amps and also audio interfaces for your PC.
