 What do you think? All right? I'm gonna tear this out and we're gonna put Philly 50 grams of hot water 201. Never trouble talking today. Like most days, nothing new as you guys know. Okay, and then we're going to give it a stir for about four seconds

 It's supposed to give you a little bit of faux crema. so I'm going to brew it down into this clear bottom so that we can see what it looks like. and we're also doing a twenty grams of it says Folch Filtra Fine Grind Vulture Grind That's a new grind on the market by the way. So I've got that all situated here and I can see I'm spilling it

 Typically it takes 12 to 24, but obviously you have a lot less volume here. So we prepared this about four and a half five hours ago. We're gonna press it out. We're using 49th Parallel Coffee in both of these and we're gonna brew this like you would the typical Aeropress only we're using the Fellowes prismo and what it's supposed to do with that because that bladder opens up slowly like that under pressure

 Let's see what it tastes like that's robust just like I would expect it out of that ratio 1 2 1 Mmm that's delightful. Pretty good. Cobra I In fact, this is a little bit concentrated. You could water this down a bit and probably get a full cup a full mug out of this

 Yes. Is the coffee I make using AeroPress with a paper filter (unbleached) better? Yes, I think it is. FYI - I am not trying to replicate Espresso with the AeroPress. I like to make a rich Americano cup

 I think the AeroPress is designed and by using paper filters, to allow you to apply a forceful amount of pressure through the grounds thereby extracting more coffee flavor, oils, crema, etc. Did coffee I made using the Prismo taste good. Yes. Is the coffee I make using AeroPress with a paper filter (unbleached) better? Yes, I think it is

 So bitter, sour, burnt almost.  These shots looked identical, both with a little transient "crema", dark and lovely, just tasted different.  Next I tried both using my usual process - protein powder scoop full of coffee (23g), water at 190F, first a little water to dampen the grounds then enough to fill aeropress almost all the way. Stir for 10 seconds, wait about 20, press

First, I did a taste test using this fellow prismo according to the standard instructions, including the 60 second total brew time, water at almost boiling, and high coffee to water ratio, vs. my usual rig of aeropress, metal filter, but same 60 seconds, temperature and water/coffee amounts.  The coffee made with the regular aeropress and metal filter was strange to press because the water passed through. The coffee tasted pretty good, strong and smooth

 I'm no coffee snob so I don't follow some strict protocal of grounds to water ratio and specific temps, etc. I just use espresso grounds from TJ's and it's superb 👌 - 1 star for the price being a tad high but so far a great product and worth the extra couple bucks over the paper filters  **UPDATE** After only about 1 month usage, the rubber nozzle disappeared and I didn't even realize it the next few times I made my coffee..

First, I try with all of my upper bodyweight to press it manually just to remind myself of how useless I am - it's a good way to stay humble in this age of instant gratification

 A few Aeropress-plunger-pressure-losses, swear words, and hysterical breakdowns in desperate need of coffee later, I finally use the hydraulic press to get a fresh cup of coffee out of this thing. Tastes great every time though!

Edited: It was easy peasy to use and clean up but have to give this product three stars because for everything this pricy little gadget claims it can do - I got NO (read ZERO) crema!! Oh it crema-ed in the cylinder before extraction into the cup but it was very disappointing to see not a hint of deliciousness when I removed the aeropress. Sort of a 'getting-a-lump-of-coal-at-the-bottom-of-your-stocking-on-Xmas-morning' moment.  I am also surprised that for what you pay for the trendy gadget, Fellows couldn't come up with a way to include a nifty little storage bag instead of the wow-bang-zing graphic paper wrapping. Not really a bang for your buck after all!  All that being said, since I first wrote a review, I have been using the gadget to 'brew' a full cup of coffee
