 The only thing personal preference here that I would like is a heavier clutch pedal, even if they still leave it linear. Because at the moment, one of the big upsells to the V3s aside from the fact that their overall fit and finish looks much nicer than this is that it has, you know, like a two-stage clutch pedal where you can feel those pressure plate Springs um, sort of disengage and engage as you go through that part of the travel. But if they did that on here, they've really been no point by the V3s because in some ways, this um, low cell base brake pedal on here has quite a few advantages over the V3 brake pedal. You know, the the sort of customizable nature of it with the V3 you can you can wind it in and out um, but this is much more adjustable than what there is on the V3s and and should we see a revision of the V3s I'm assuming they're probably going to include you know this, this type of sap could be sit on a lot of pedals these days, but who knows what's coming in the future

 As far as pedal position, angle and adjustment goes in, you have to pay more money. You know it's as simple as that. But yes, as always, thank you very much much for watching and take it easy.

 and again as I say the V3s um at 400 Euros are still only mid-range pedals, they're still not high-end pedals. But anyway, that's enough of my Waffle Edge I Have no real negatives about these. I Think the price point is where it should be slap bang in between the very entry level and the mid-range V3s and the functionality, the fit, the finish, the form, the adjustment you get again is appropriate for the price point. if you want higher quality pedals that are smoother with a nicer finish with a better clutch with more customization

 But yeah, I do like the way it feels I like the way it drives, the way they look is going to be entirely down to your own personal preference. Obviously we have a pony linear clutch and you know, an unremarkable accelerator pedal. but then all accelerator pedals are unremarkable, so nothing to gripe about. There fit finish quality for the price point for just above entry level is perfectly fine as I say it's cast aluminum that's been powder coated

Hi it is only my experience but I own csl elite lc pedals, shifter, Handbrake and dd1 before the Elite wheelbase and had so far absolutely no problems at all in two years or so.

Fanatec products are positioned as premium gear. They sit at the higher end of the consumer offerings. High tech features, materials, construction. Yet owners complain of build quality. RMA's. Products lasting only a couple of years. Is Fanatec well built or isn't it?

Maybe the abuse that we subject our gear to means that no sim racing product is "buy it for life" (I see similarities to real world racing: high tech, expensive, built for the race and replace the part when it fails)

But at the price point I expect more from Fanatec? My Logitech G27 is still going strong since 2013. Surely Fanatec is a higher quality product?

Don't know what to make of Fanatec

 And it might look cheap on some videos and pictures, but I can guarantee you when you touch them, this feels anything other than cheap. So now let's mount them back to my rig. I had no problems mounting these pedals on my rig and if you take a look at the Fnatic website, you can see that they use the exact same mounting dimensions as with their other pedals as well. So you should not run into any trouble there, even if you have a different cockpit

I also want to say that I think if you get a load cell pedal, you should really try to use a higher braking force, because maybe at first it will feel too heavy for you and not good, but once you get used to it, you just have so much more fidelity in your braking. Fanatec CSL Elite LC Pedals Review/Overview after 4 months usage

 Hello everyone, I'm Timu and in this video I want to give you my personal impressions

 on the Fanatec CSL Elite the load cell pedals.

 I have used them for 4 months now and hopefully this video will help some people in their

 I also want to add that I'm not getting paid or anything else for this video.

 I have bought them myself and just want to share my thoughts about them.

 When you buy these pedals, they don't come assembled as you see them now, you have to

 mount all the pedals individually to the heel rest right here.

 Now this might sound complicated, but I can tell you I'm very untalented when it comes

 to handcraft and yet I had no issues building these up.

 Alright, we have the pedals turned around now, so you can see that you can freely choose

 which holes to use and therefore adjust them to your personal likings.

 In addition to this, you need to mount this little electric box and all you need to do

 however is put these 4 screws in and then just connect these cables from the pedals

 You also don't need any tools as Fanatec will send you these two instruments and after that

 you just connect this USB cable with the pedals and your computer and you are good to go.

 Also while assembling, make sure that none of your cables gets jammed in in between the

 Other than this, it's super easy and you can just follow the instructions step by step

 and I guarantee you nothing will go wrong.

 You can very easily adjust the elastometer springs without the need of any tools.

 All you need to do is lift up this metal rod and then you can exchange these rubbers with

 Additionally, I want to show something at the brake which I personally really like.

 If I just push the brake down with my hand like this, until I hit the pressure point

 where I cannot get it any further in with my hand, these few first centimeters of travel

 I use for trail braking and everything after that is for the heavy braking.

 So it is super easy to remember the pressure you need for trail braking and also for heavy

 braking points, especially if you come from a potentiometer brake.

 It will probably feel weird at first, but once your muscle memory kicks in, trust me

 You should also mount these reinforcements in the back because the brake can get quite

 heavy and you don't want your pedals to flex in any way.

 Now if you feel like the pedals are too slippery, you also get these rubber pads which are also

 very easy to attach and then you have more grip on these pedals if you prefer that.

 The whole material of these pedals feels very sturdy and as Fnatic also stated on their

 website the whole construction is a full metal aluminum build.

 And it might look cheap on some videos and pictures, but I can guarantee you when you

 touch them, this feels anything other than cheap.

 I had no problems mounting these pedals on my rig and if you take a look at the Fnatic

 website, you can see that they use the exact same mounting dimensions as with their other

 Once you plug them in, all you need to do is go to the Fnatic website and download the
