 So at least for me, the developers did a great job in that aspect. Now overall, I had a lot of fun with Fallout New Vegas. Obsidian did a great job with the atmosphere and with the writing. Even though it's not the best writing in my opinion, it's still very clever writing, and I like the situations that they put you in this game, and I love the main story

 Then, he shoots you in the head and leaves you to die. And if it wasn't for a mysterious robot named Victor saving you and sending you off the good springs to get patched, then you would be dead. Now this is where you create your character, and after getting patched up by the doctor, you are off to figure out what is so important about this item, and why you got shot in the head for it, and who is this man named Benny, and what the hell is going on. Now I really like this story in Fallout New Vegas, and I'm gonna name two reasons why

 For us, it really doesn't look all that impressive, but after a nuclear fallout, that city must be the greatest thing in the world to a lot of people. So that's where I think it comes from, and it still looks very beautiful to me. And yeah, I do wish it kind of had a little more in it, you know, you hear all this talk about the Strip, and it was kind of lackluster in what it had. But if I was in that world of Fallout New Vegas, I would think it was the greatest thing ever made

 I really love the small towns like Goodsprings, which resemble a city that you would have seen in 1800s, to the place where most people want to go to, the Strip, where it resembles kind of like life before all this nuclear fallout happened, with its casinos and its bright lights. And now, I know a lot of people are saying that they expected the Strip to be a lot bigger, with more things in it than it came out with, but this is how I look at it. For us, it really doesn't look all that impressive, but after a nuclear fallout, that city must be the greatest thing in the world to a lot of people. So that's where I think it comes from, and it still looks very beautiful to me

What’s the best story game on steam?

Any games like Skyrim?

Very Good

Don't know how much of that hype was organic or astroturfed, but having played through the entire game and its DLCs I have to say this was a painfully average game. The entire premise is 'corporations bad' and they run with that joke for the whole 50 hours of total gameplay. The characters are absolutely forgettable, the combat is easy and dull unless you crank up the difficulty in which case it is still easy and dull due to how OP some weapons are. There are a few glimpses of good questing but there are so far and few between this sea of boredom

The Outer Worlds has reached 3 million units sold-in to date.

This one was fun. The story is good and as the player you are forced to make some moral decisions about where to go next.

 I did like the plethora of new equipment, and the back story was a good one. Despite being a high level character I got the beatdown quite a few times, so tactics were important.

4 out of 10 stars. Not even a pile of money made it worth the hours of frustration and boredom. The weapons you take away are weak, the loot is only okay, very skippable.

.then there is a final frustrating run for life from the recesses of the casino. It took me several tries to get it right and at the end I was literally swearing at the screen because I just wanted this awful mission to be over.

I wouldn't consider myself to have very high standards when it comes to enjoying games that aren't modern. I find games like Doom I/II, Half Life, and Halo CE to be just as fun as when they released, primarily because they were so mechanically simple it was hard to "age" anything outside of visuals. But then I go back and try to replay something like Witcher 1 and I spend most of my time playing the game with a frown, the jank permeates the entire experience.

Where does New Vegas fall, how has it aged? I've been in the mood to play a good RPG and this one always comes up in the discussions.
