 I can definitely testify like I was saying regarding the ice it's definitely a very strong ski going through the snow which is really great. The conclusion I have on these skis is it's definitely one of the most durable skis I've ever ridden and that's because of its structural durability and a safe bet for a serious East Coast rider that's going to be riding consistently even if the conditions aren't great. I personally like more play in my skis which is why I'm actually selling these bad boys to go with a more freestyle ski but all in all very clean and high-end ski ride. Hopefully this gave you guys some more details about the ski and like and comment if you have any questions I will be coming out with some more ski reviews and videos so subscribe if you're interested

 Definitely not a great freestyle ski. If you're a very stiff kind of rider you can play around with it but in my personal opinion definitely not even close to a freestyle ski. Anti-chip tip and tail cap. As you can see here one of the first times riding this ski I definitely chipped the top and kind of the top of the ski here got pretty messed up so it's definitely a durable ski but the top is definitely not as strong and durable as they say it is

 The flex rating is a 7, 1 being soft, 10 being stiff. Definitely a super stiff ski in my opinion but that's pretty good for when you're just cruising down the mountain. The shape of the ski is a free ride flat tail. Traditional flat tail design is built for speed, ultimate edge grip and control throughout charging turns

 I'm by no means a professional skier but I definitely have an opinion on these specific skis. Faction is definitely a really cool company and has got some awesome riders so I decided to buy these skis instead of some armadas but I didn't really look into the full details of this specific ski but it's definitely one for your casual riders. 0s. I am having trouble deciding between Atomic Bent 85 and Bent 90s, as I do take 2-3 trips out west a year. I also am just getting into park, so i’m want a ski that will also hold up in the park.

Okay for a bit of context:

I live in BC. Mainly riding the mountains in the lower mainland. Whistler, Cypress, etc.

I'm 5'9", 135lbs (yeah I'm a small dude, gimme a break).

Last winter season was my first real year back at it since my teenage years (where I was, like most Canadians in BC, going on one or two trips a year with fam and/or school). That being said, I did get a good amount of sessions in last season. Something like 15, so my skill advanced quite a bit. I'd say solid intermediate.

I was riding Rustler 9s in 164cm with a used oldish Head Vector 90 flex boot. Pretty affordable beginner set-up to ease into it.

I did quickly find my limit with these though I think. Whether it be the boot or the ski, I felt like I had a lag in quick turns/pivoting for moguls and trees, when it should be pretty easy with a setup like that. It felt heavy to pick up off the ground despite not actually being that heavy, if that makes sense. 

On-top of that, despite being the PNW I found I was skiing almost an equal amount on really hard pack, icy, and cruddy conditions last season. The rustlers did pretty well in crud, but I was miserable on hard pack and ice. Tons of skidding/side slipping. On-top of this, they definitely felt a little sketch with any sort of speed on hard pack.

The powder/soft snow days were great though and the rustlers did well.

Anyways, this year I got a much stiffer boot (Full Tilt FC 130), which I've read is on the softer side for a 130. The tongue is modular and can be swapped out for a 100 flex.

My ski this year is a Bent 100, 172cm length. I was looking for something playful that I could improve my ability to get air, play in trees, do side hits, and practice switch.

That being said, I've read they're *okay* for dampness and it makes me a little concerned for the days where ice and crud are factors - these days would likely be a little more groomer focused anyways since doing trees and jumps on icy days sounds like a good way to get wrecked.

Anyways, I'd love to hear some suggestions. Do I go for another mid size all mountain that's a bit heavier that can bust through crud and hold an edge well, or should I be aiming for something more narrow underfoot?

TLDR; have Bent 100s and am looking for something that might be a bit more damp and hold an edge well in icy/sketchy conditions.

Looking for a second pair for PNW Quiver

 If you're looking for a very durable ski, this isn't for you. But other than that there pretty great for the price.

 I am honestly not that hard on them and they scratch extremely easily. It already has MANY large scratches on the tops and several small gashes taken out of the top. If you're looking for a very durable ski, this isn't for you. But other than that there pretty great for the price

 The reason for my 3/5 is that the tops are NOT durable. I've only spent about 8 whole days skiing on them and the tops look as though they've been bashed on hard for 5 seasons already. Skis are great. Lots of fun ripping around. Very lightweight which makes them easy to pop up and jump around. 94mm at the waist is a great width for many snow conditions so they do great

First pair of LINE skis. These were also my first pair of skis in the mid 90mm waste width. 172cm length; edges cut nicely and they are exceptionally stable. Great if you like to bomb groomers actually pretty nice in the powder

Great all-mountain ski

Love my sick days. Ironically, have been taking sick days from work to test them out and they're great all around skis. Curious to know how they will do in deep powder, but they have been stable at high speeds and are a lot of fun to jump on side mounds.

Fast, Durable, Fun

A buddy researched these skis a year ago, loved them when he went last year and I decided to take the plunge.  Ride great!
