ESEE Izula DE Fixed Blade

! So what do I think of the izula.? It's very well made and light, but it's a little small for my main outdoor, fixed blade

It's a great little fixed blade knife overall length, six point: two: five! So six quarter inches we got a blade length.

Now, before I explain my biggest issue with this knife, I'd like to say that I enjoy ESEE products and I very much enjoy their line of neck knives like the Candiru and such. The knife functions like your typical Izula. It holds an edge so long as you keep it honed, and its relatively lightweight but...

Not practical for a back up camping knife. Won't even strike a ferro rod, this is more of a back up knife for those tactical moments. It' a well built knife just not for camping....

While I like the initial design, the handle is too small unless you have petite hands. The Izula 2 fits much nicer.

It's a good little knife...Sharp as a razor out of the package.

The handle is a tad short and narrow for my hands...But then again it is a neck knife so compactness comes into play.
