With that out of the way, if you're still intent on trying to game over wifi, and do so over a mesh no less, then Eero is the only product you want to look at. I can expand upon why if you want, but long story short, it's simply a better mousetrap at providing a consistently solid, low-latency connection over multi-hop wireless. That improved the speed and coverage! Last Prime Day, I added two Pro 6e's, one upstairs with the Pro and two beacons and the other one on the first floor with the Pro 6+. Our house is very well covered with 90-100Mbps to farthest corners. My recommendation would be one (or two) Pro 6+ on each floor and add as you need, but home run via Ethernet to your Eero Gateway, use an unmanaged switch if you need additional Ethernet ports.
