Best Outdoor speakers

Earfun Uboom L is a fine new speaker in this size and weight category and you can get a pair for $120. Soundcore motion boom is louder and has deeper bass, weighs about 4lbs but has a nice handle which makes it easy to carry. Mifa wildbox is similar in size and has lights/tweeters & aux in.

Sound Quality

4.5 stars if you have a PC, 3 for Mac

Sound quality isn't bad with the old firmware but stars removed for no ability to update firmware with the better sound quality if you are a Mac user. Pretty unacceptable. Probably going to return and get the Motion+.

Recommendation for a versatile speaker

Soundcore Motion+ or Soundcore Motion Boom or EarFun UBOOM or Sony XB33. Make sure you get Dual Driver STEREO with USB-C!

I prefer the old model

I just prefer the old model of the earfun ubooms and like the feature of having a way to attach it to my pack. The sound is not that much of a upgrade for twice the price
