If it's going to be 'the' bike you stick with for several years, you are pretty sure you will not upgrade to a better one, and are riding casually out there, just having fun, enjoying nature, not riding competitively. Then: an older 10x135 QR frame is fine, like a Diamondback Overdrive, one of the Raleigh Bikes, Giant low-end ones, etc.
