 what up guys thank you for watching another one of my videos so I forgot to add this in the video so I'm gonna do it real quick everyone who bought the Diamondback Atraz 2 I finally did some major upgrades and a lot of people have been asking for videos of people upgrading them and I'm one of the only people I've seen on YouTube that has the bike and I've been doing videos about it so I want to show the upgrades one I got a RockShox Judy Gold fork so I got rid of that heavy Sun tour metal stanchion or steel stanchion just BS to got the X fusing dropper post it was $200 for 150 mil dropper with the lever and it's been awesome so far second thing if you want to support me which I know I'm small but my brand is starting to really grow rotation racing we're in a couple stores in Arizona now so these are my gloves and that's my company man I would really appreciate it there's a couple left of these rotation one gloves on the website right now but we have two more pairs dropping and they're gonna be in a couple stores across Arizona that you can get them in or our website and then here's some video footage of me riding a trail can't release the name of it but it's a local trail back in my little brother's my parents neighborhood back home in California thank you guys rotation flow right I don't fully pull the front brake I just like halfway this shit is sick give me the space I could hit it, I'm just feeling it out. I got this and when I was looking for bikes you know as Probably every mountain biker knows right now is the demand for bikes pretty much everywhere is terrible And you can't find these like you can't find any bike really So guys, I hope you enjoyed this video now.  So that's going to be helpful Moving to the front of the bike now. So Having wider bars will be Very handy, especially on this bike As for the grips on here, i'm not a fan of these They are not lock-on grips and I definitely do not like this because I kind of had to move this around to see Where I want my levers at and they were hitting before but I think I got them now So i'm going to get some lock-on grips, but they're not too bad. They're pretty grippy, but not my favorite Another thing I was really happy about this bike Is one thing you can see though is it comes with outer cable routing And so I was just wondering how am I going to do a dropper post because I don't really like the cable going off the back so I was told by my bike shop that this actually does use inner cable routing for Specifically for a dropper post. I'm not entirely sure where it's going to come out to go right there, but it should go somewhere But it's not too bad Looking from the back of the bike I really love looking from the rear because you can really just see how wide those handlebars are And just see how nice this whole bike looks Also, this bike has a really steep head angle which is perfect for me because this bike is actually pretty heavy That's probably the one thing that I dislike about this bike is just the weight of it It actually weighs more than a downhill bike because I believe this is a trail bike, but this weighs 48 pounds, which is a lot And downhill bikes i've seen only weigh about 45 to you know 40 to 45 But it's got that steep head angle, which is perfect for all the downhill here in utah Diamondback actually gives you some pretty good pedals I really like these just because they come with the studs on them and they're not just like the cheap Plastic pedals that you know walmart bikes come with they actually do come with reflectors on either side But I actually took those off because I think it looks so much better without them As for braking on this bike, I think it does really well Other than that this bike looks really clean I like how they just added small lettering for the diamond back right here So you can see a lot of the bike and you can still tell what it is and it also has Atro's right on the top with super nice designs going across the top tube So as I said, this is a pretty good bike

That's you know, not Expensive but it also gives you a ton of nice parts The things I want to do to it as I said is a dropper post I think I want to get a one by twelve just so I have some extra climbing gears because As I said, this bike does weigh 48 pounds, which is a ton And that's a lot of uphill and I did say i'm joining my school's bike team and it's cross country, but it's so much uphill and I think a one by twelve would be so much better and definitely Probably a new fork because You know as I said, it's not bad, but it's definitely not the greatest thing ever And probably new grips I had race face ones on my last bike and they were perfect and these ones just they're not my style Maybe sometime in the future An updated rear shock just so I can kind of get some more Bounce to it, which would help a lot

The Atroz is nicknamed the Atrozity for a reason. Spend your hard earned bucks on a quality hardtail instead. Full suspension bikes worth buying are $2k+.

Looking to get into mountain biking with little knowledge of the hobby. Would I be better off doing a cheap full suspension $1200&gt; or a decent hard tail for that price? My desired riding will be relatively smooth trails but want to get into some medium sized jumps. Only FS I can find around $1200 is the Diamonback Atroz 1 &amp; 2. I know for beginners on a budget buying used full suspension is a good idea but I’m wanting new.

Cheap Full Suspension or decent hard tail?

Great bike!

 This bike is pushed along by a Shimano Acura 1x9 drivetrain. And that's super amazing. We'll get into that in a little bit. It also comes with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, which, again, is super amazing, like the 1x drivetrain, because you wouldn't even expect those on a $1500 full suspension mountain bike to have competitors

 The reason I don't care as much is because I'm excited to learn how to install those myself. My recommendation however would be a diamondback Atroz. It's full suspension and as affordable as a MTB can be while still being a quality product, the Atroz 1 is $1000, Atroz 2 $1400, and the 3 is $2000.

So I’m looking at getting into mtb. I have a handful of years trail riding on a dirt bike but this will be my first mtb. I’ve read good things about this bike but I have also read it’s not a good one for beginners. Why is this? Will my previous riding experience translate over to mtb at all? Should I be looking in a different direction? Thank you!

Sync’r alright for beginner?

Bought this for my 14 y/o son who has been expressing interest in full suspension bikes.  When I started looking, I couldn't believe how expensive they can get.
