- Death By Audio Fuzz War: Very aggressive, very loud muff style fuzz, but with a tone stack that doesn't have a bad sound in the whole range. If the EQD Plumes is the evolution of the tubescreamer, this is the same thing for the big muff.

Previous versions of this pedal, as I understand it, had the trimpot on the inside, which Death By Audio got some flak for. They rectified this by moving it to the outside, and I'm glad that they did. Getting to fiddle with the bias back and forth a little bit really opens up a lot of options to fin...

Death By Audio Fuzz War - Hands down my favorite pedal of all time. This thing absolutely rips and sounds good on any settings.

I recently switched from the Big Muff to the Death By Audio Fuzz War and I haven't looked back even a little bit. If I had to have one forever it'd be the Fuzz War

I think the Fuzz War is the best fuzz out there right now. Super loud and thick. The special editions with the built in boosts are also sick.

I have a Fuzz War and love/use it almost exclusively for all fuzz (muff to bender). The box is thick/rugged and built for touring (like all DBA pedals). Favorite feature is the articulation/detail - superb for any dirt pedal, but especially fuzz.

Death by Audio - Fuzz War for pure amazing fuzz. Or Death by Audio - Echo Dream 2 for more versatile fuzz plus delay and modulation. Two of my favorites.
