DAKINE Bike Roller Bag

The Dakine Bike Bag is just under 18lbs. I can store my medium Trek Fuel EX 9.8 in there with a couple tools and stay under 50lbs so it’s equal to one piece of luggage on Delta or United Airlines. The bag paid for itself in one 3-day trip out to Bentonville. Now I’m saving hundreds of dollars on any bike trip i make.

It protected my bike during travel. It leaned to the side when pulling which was a bit annoying. Overall, I recommend.

No frills, and quiver of one?

I use a Dakine Padded Ski Sleeve for when I travel light.

Double layer it with a Dakine Boundary Ski Roller Bag when I have the ease to carry more and want to be more protective.

You can put a lot of extra stuff in this bike bag, which is great to save money on baggage on flights! Having two wheels instead of 4 makes it heavy to drag through airports though. Excellent product, lots of protection, spots for tools, etc... but take off your rotors and don't be lazy like we were the first time. There's padding, but if the airline jams it in, the rotors can still get pretty bent up. Fits 29 and 27.5 wheels no problem. Highly recommend.

Great bag. Easy to keep things organized and protected. The only thing that is lacking are the instructions - I get why they aren’t detailed but dakine should partner with bike brands to show the best way to pack the bag.
