I was looking for a CRKT CEO for quite a while when my Girlfriend surprised me with one for my birthday. I love this knife, very classy and nice to wear while at work. The only thing was that I love wood scales and none were available and I didn’t find any available on the aftermarket.

More and more Amazon vendors are selling customer returns as new. Happened to me with a CRKT CEO last week. That thing was rough.

Slim, compact sharp, easy enough to action. The only problem I had is the pocket clip is terrible. That big wing on it kept getting caught on stuff CONSTANTLY, and eventually it bent to where it's no longer usable as a clip. No matter how hard I try, I can't bend it back. Makes me wonder how it bent...

So I am going to a wedding tomorrow and decided to get the CRKT CEO as a gentleman’s carry for it. And boy do I absolutely hate it after messing with it after buying it. i’ve never hated a knife before but this takes the cake. It’s so thin of a handle and the way you hold it to open the blade the pocket clip is right in the way, the thumb stud is like the size of a pencil eraser it is so small and hurts my thumb to try and deploy the blade, and if you are not pushing the tiny thumb stud at the right angle it will not budge at all.

This is my first CRKT knife but I've been a long time knife collector and have a ton of other knives. I love my CRKT CEO knife. I remember seeing a lot of the complaints when it was first announced, but after using it, and what the knife is used for, I think it is a perfect and slim knife to carry around.
