But my thoughts are that these speakers sound really good, not only for their price, but their size.

I tested the desktop speakers for a few weeks and I think it's a great product.

Just bought these a few days ago for $100 from Walmart. I'm upgrading from the Creative Pebble 2.1 speakers, and this is a massive jump in audio quality from the lows all the way to the highs and they get LOUD. I love them.

For the price, these speakers are great out of the box for listening to music. However the default sound settings on them are terrible when it comes to the midrange. This results in a difficult time listening to podcasts and watching YouTube/movies, basically anytime you need to hear a person talk. ...

as speakers, get the **Creative Pebble**. They are USB powered (less wires to the power socket), are cheap, look decent ...and most important they sound very good *(considering their price)*.
