Crankbrothers Stamp 1

I love my crankbrothers stamp 1 for less than $50. They make a small and large size depending on your preference. They make multiple higher end versions, but I think the entry level stamp 1’s are awesome quality.

Overall, the size is great. I got the large and like how wide the pedal is. I really liked my Stamp 1 pedals until the right one failed and stabbed my leg. Only had about 600 miles on them so that was annoying.

Used these for road riding and after 3 months, 1,000 miles, they started squeaking. Took apart, cleaned the axle , relubed and squeaking went away for 2 weeks then came back. They are light and comfortable if pins are flipped and use the shorter side, but cheap bearing. Can't recommend.

Have tried the OneUp composites and the Stamp 1. Wouldn't recommend the Stamp 1 for anything other than XC or trail riding. The OneUp pedals have far superior grip.

the middle bump for the axel is too large, pins are too short to compensate. I anticipate no grip with these pedals if you're doing anything serious.
