Tool kit

I have always been a fan of the Craftsman brand. Lots of my Craftsmen tools were given to me by my father and going on 60 years old. I still use them all the time. That’s my go to brand for tools.

A Starter/Lifetime Tool set

Dewalt cordless tools are great, we’ve been using them since the 18v systems first came out. For starter hand tools, Craftsman (owned by B&D now) are good and so are Tekton.

Really, just a switch

The on/off switch it kind of idiotic. It is literally a switch, so you don’t have a trigger or lever, you have a switch.

Battery powered String Trimmer recommendations?

I just got a Craftsman for like $120 from Lowe's. I already had a few things from them and their batteries are all interchangeable. Even got their lawnmower too since I don't have a lot of grass and it works well.

Tool is nice but the saw blade do stay long

So far the only complaint I have is the quality odd the wood saw blade. I used only once, need to replace.

I have a Craftsman that I use on about weekly basis in my workshop. I can't comment on how long it will last, but it has been 23 years so far.

Just make sure that you do a regular PM on it.

Nice Tool

Works great without having to use a plug in. Tools change out fast and easy. Battery life if pretty good.

Restored and upgraded my 20+ year old Craftsman 113 Table Saw.

The craftsman tools are absolute crap these days, but it will take a nuke to kill the old 90s and earlier craftsman tools.
