This isn't accurate. Lots of Craftsman tools are made in China and Taiwan now, and DeWalt stuff is global.

Small drill bits slide out

Great drill for every day use. Battery lasted for about 7 hours of use (not consecutive). My only complaint is that it does not hold narrow drill bits very well. They slide out or jerk to the side when I use them.

He got a Craftsman stapler back in the late 90s that finally shit the bed: definitely got his money's worth, literally 1000s of staples later. Trashed it, not even thinking about a warranty, and go to our local Ace Hardware for a replacement.

Worked ok for short time

I bought 2 of these drills its about a year now one still good but the outer one the trigger doesn't always work

solid mid-grade drill

it's a good drill, torquey. I have only 2 complaints about it. the chuck is plastic. so it's easy to mar the chuck when in a tight space. not really a big deal, but having it metal would have been nice. battery was meh, and it only comes with one. so I got a second battery, an aftermarket one that's...
