 And finally, while I do love the RGB and the water resistance, that rubber is another thing that the light has to pass through and causes the LEDs to appear ever so slightly washed out. You may not notice if you have nothing else to compare to, but looking at it with my K95 RGB Platinum side by side, there is definitely a difference. But aside from all that, I really don't have much to complain about. I like the metal Corsair logo at the top, but giving that an LED would have been pretty classy too

 Alternatively, you can work off the default profile if you just want to dive right into the waters. This replaced a Logitech G413, so comments are in comparison to that (review is of Cherry MXred).

 That's because the actual W key won't stay on its post, because the plastic is so cheap on these keys that just by pressing it several times, which I know is something a gamer never does, it has actually broken to the point where it will just pop right off if you are not paying attention. It's very clicky and loud

 The K68 weighs in at 1.44 kilograms, has a 2 meter rubberized cable, and has one extra level of height adjustment. The backplate is metal, and above that and just below the keys are a red face plate, which helps the keyboard's red backlighting spread out evenly when at night, and does look quite nice without being overly bright. Of course, they also include a two-year warranty and a wrist rest on this particular keyboard, which is hard with a rubberized texture, and it was quite nice to type on

 On the top right of the keyboard, there is a windows lock, brightness, and media keys, and to the left of the keyboard are your F1 to F4 keys, which are close to your num keys, so pro gamers can reliably use these as hot keys in games too. So really, when it comes down to it, the K68 is a very sturdy keyboard that you can spill liquids on for days and not have to worry about your keyboard breaking down on you, and this is certainly the big advantage of the K68, even compared to Corsair's own lineup of more expensive options. It currently comes in at 100 USD, or in Oz 149 AUD, and although being expensive, is definitely a keyboard that is made to last. The implementation of the Cherry MX switches were good, the software works really well, and the typing experience on this keyboard definitely makes the K68 a premium option when it comes to keyboards

 So let's take a further look at what this keyboard can do, without spilling any more liquids on it. Welcome back to Tech Yes City, this is Brian the Yes Man coming to you guys today with a look at the K68, which is a keyboard that comes in both red and blue Cherry MX Switch variants. The red switched version, which I have here today, has red LED backlighting, and the blue switched version has blue backlighting. And the idea with this keyboard, as seen in the intro, is that the switches now have water resistant key covers that protect the switches and the base PCB from conductive liquids

 After pulling off the keycaps, which are double shot ABS plastic, you can see the red LED backlighting underneath, which is adjustable via three levels of brightness on the keyboard. And if you use the Q2 software, you can adjust opacity from one to 100%. You can also choose from a range of lighting effects, and with the software you can even layer in multiple effects at once, as well as offering individual per key backlighting and control so you can have a truly unique look on your K68 if you want. There is further the option to change the polling rates from 125 hertz to 1000 hertz, and you can program unique macros into the keyboard as to help with your video games like Dota 2 for instance

Any good Mechanical keyboards under 6000₹

I like the key action and response feel but the keycaps pop off way too easily. Eventually the S cap socket broke off, so it may be that they are just to flimsy to stay attached under normal repeated typing, which is what I used it for. As I paused over the broken key cap mount with a tube of superglue contemplating trying to to fix it, I said meh, not worth it, and tossed it. Switched back to my Das Keyboard which is still typing away without any keycaps popping off randomly

 All of the effects are managed through the new Q2.0 software and after being using the 1.0 software, this new interface is a much better design. Once you select your peripheral you want to control, you are presented with a default profile for the keyboard

 The space bar has a textured pattern on it with a slit for the LED. There are plenty of rubber feet on the keyboard as well as a wrist rest, but not on the extended feet. That's unfortunate, but it doesn't seem to move around with the legs extended anyways. I want to point out that this keyboard does not include a keycap puller

 That's also unfortunate because if you spill something on this or decide to clean your keyboard in a couple of years, you might want to remove all the keycaps to clean everything. A keycap puller would make a lot of sense in this package. So the most notable feature on this keyboard is the dust and spill resistance that's IP32 rated. What that means is that liquids can be sprayed at less than 15 degrees from vertical

 So it is possible to damage the keyboard if liquid is sprayed in a certain pattern and of course if the keyboard was submerged. So don't dunk your keyboard. The keyboard is able to protect itself in two ways. First is the silicon rubber sheet that covers the plate all the way up to the opening of the switch
