Continental Grand Prix 5000 TL 28mm tyre review
Now available with a tubeless option for the first time, the wait was very much worth it. This is a tyre that offers near-identical performance to the clincher but with tubeless benefits, such as reduced puncture risk. Installation of the GP5000 tyres is a painless affair, although Continental forbids the use of hookless rims, which rules out some modern wheels from Hunt, ENVE and Zipp, to name a few

Love 'em!
If you're not riding tubeless tires, you should be. And if you ARE riding tubeless, you should be riding these. Easy to mount, as long as you're putting them on the correct size rim, but you'll need a compressor to seat them. I've never gotten ANY tubeless tire to seat with a pump or CO2 carts. And ...

Another Great Tyre and finally Tubeless
I've been using tubeless tyres on both my bikes now for 2 years and have had no problems at all for around 8000 miles .
I am using 25mm on a set of Hunt 50mm Carbon wheels which are very wide (27mm) , found them easy to fit and sealed first time using co2 . I use the new generation sealant which d...

However, Disley has suggested that the use of a butyl inner tube instead of a latex inner tube may explain the discrepancy. The final verdict.

New tubeless favourite
I've been riding mostly the Schwalbe Pro One, also the Hutchinson 11storm Fusion, now these new GP5000. On (perceived) performance, they are equal to the One, better than the Fusion. Same for ride comfort and grip. On durability and puncture resistance, they are superior to the others. In terms of s...

Great tubeless tires
Have been riding on tubeless tires for many years, although Continental has only recently developed these tubeless tires. So far in 6 months put on about 2500 miles without problems (28 mm), should last 3000-3500 miles, depending if front or rear tire; seem to wear better than Schwalbe 1 and more an...
