 All right, I'm going to go live here on the other poppers and we'll see how it goes. All right so put some direct fire shots on the other poppers, remember they were all with roughly and within a five meter radius so even though the grenade didn't take them down then you follow it up with 5.56, hence why a weapon like the M203 replaced the M79. You can mount it on a weapon and you also have the ability to put 5

I think we're actually going to be shooting some more of that with rifles, with handguns, and that particular plate we've actually never been able to get out in the field to test.  We'll try one more, my windage is good, I just got to adjust the elevation. Over top. Here we go, first shot was over here right in front of this popper, next shot was actually on this popper and then at the request of the US Palm guys I tried to hit the plate direct, put one between his legs, hit there and then one right over the top, hit there but the interesting thing to note here is there's the first three hits we fired earlier today and then here's the hits that were right in this area, all of them within arms radius roughly three meters of each other and the reason that is, is that the new sighting system that I'm using there incorporates a red dot sight, it has an aim point micro, it makes it far more accurate than the standard quadric sights that the M203 normally had. Now we took some hits here which I believe was from the shot before, we'll check out the hard plate again, see if there's anything new, we got count one coming in from the rear my guess would have been around from right behind it but it did not penetrate, nothing just penetrated all the way through the hard plate and then let's look at the US Palm soft plate over here, soft armor I should say, we got another tearing hit coming in but nothing on the back, good to go

M203 Grenade Launcher

 If you don't like things that go boom, this is not the show for you.

 It's time to ramp things up, 40mm style.

 There's not much cooler than shooting grenade launchers.

 It all kind of started here with the M79, a Vietnam era grenade launcher in 40mm.

 To really show you what they're all about, we went out to Arizona and shot with the US

 Palm guys, and we shot some of the more modern renditions, such as the M203 mounted on this

 M4 carbine, and HK's grenade launcher, which is now adopted by the US military as the M320.

 Back here with Terry Scottsdale Gun Club in sunny but overcast Arizona today.

 We've really been looking forward to this.

 Well, we're going to do a couple of different things.

 First thing we did is we came out wet in the area, make sure that we knocked down any type

 And what you're going to see is, and Terry and I talked about this off camera, these

 rounds are nowhere near as powerful as what is perceived in the media, particularly movies.

 So this is the first time that I've ever known of this being on television.

 I'm going to use exactly the same hold, which was on the left hand side of the closest target.

 I favored a little bit for the win in that training practice round, skipped right between

 them, so we're hoping we're going to get a good hit with the HEDP.

 Right now because of the video games and the movies and the way that they're portrayed,

 the 40 millimeter grenade specifically with the M203 is viewed very differently in the

 game as in Hollywood, but I think today what you'll see is with the blast radius being

 a little bit smaller, it would usually be moored for if you needed to put it inside

 of a building, inside of a room to take out some hostiles, it's more used toward that

 than something that would be considered a real large blast area like a bomb.

 That's why my ass is on TV, you know what I'm talking about?

 My face is going to be on the hundo, no doubt you wouldn't want to be this dude.

 You can see here, it's sprayed down along the side and we caught some frag back on this

 target but it actually hit the stake, detonated on the stake and kind of shredded the bottom

 hits within roughly a five meter radius, honestly you can be ten meters away and not even get
