The Christopher Knight Home Evelyn is a clean, comfortable, and stylish addition to any living space. It exceeded our expectations for online furniture; the material quality was excellent, the assembly was straightforward, the seat cushion is soft without bottoming out, and it's very stable. In smaller spaces, this chair will create the illusion of a bigger room as its design alludes to larger chairs of a similar style. Plastic tipped legs are floor-friendly, and their finish looks great too. The soft linen-like upholstery is friendly to the touch and hides any wrinkles nicely. It transitioned seamlessly from morning coffee and newspaper seating to evening cocktails with style and comfort. 
Anticipating the slighter smaller size of the Evelyn will ensure you aren't disappointed on arrival. The chair will do wonderfully in everyday size spaces but may seem a tad underwhelming in grander settings. Some people found the cushion to be a touch firm out of the box, although we found it to be one of the softer options in comparative testing. The armrests are a place where we can say for sure we would have appreciated a bit more cushion. They are sadly barren of cushion with a central depression that has no cushion. We measured seat height at 17" and width at 21", which is solidly in the medium width range of the chairs we tested.

 It's simply hard and not comfortable. What makes it worse for me is that the armrests are incredibly hard. Like seriously hard. There is almost no padding on the top of the armrests

Good looking . . . BUT

Nice Looking and Uncomfortable

 I was also a bit disappointed in the color though I cannot say it was misrepresented. "Beige" is a range of colors generally composed of a mixture of light gray, yellow and brown. I would say this beige was heavy on the light grey. Hence, it is not the greatest match with my pale yellow walls but it'll do

It's okay, but I'm not thrilled...

This is the first time I've ordered furniture online based on just the photos, but taking into consideration many customer reviews for these chairs as well as other chairs s of similar style and color, I decided to take a chance. I shopped several brick and mortar stores as well, and other websites with similar "MCM styles" and these chairs were exactly the look and vibe I was looking for. I really like them and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. Once I had the first one assembled, the 2nd one was a breeze

 Because the beige is a light color, I did place a blanket on the floor to keep them clean. They are very comfortable even if they are more firm than other chairs which I was able to physically test in stores, but the pricing was so much better and they look amazing in my space! Personally, I prefer the firmer feel to one that is too squishy. I also purchased the 5-year indoor furniture accident plan for them (This again was because it's my first time buying furniture online.) NOW THE REASON FOR THE THE GOOD NEWS/BAD NEWS: I'm very impressed with how fast these chairs were delivered, however right now, I'm only giving 4-stars because I also paid extra money to have them delivered to and brought into my house to any room I requested

Good news and Bad news...

 I am keeping it, using a lumbar pillow for better 'sitting up straight' support to prevent me from getting too comfy. For me it was too labor intensive to dis-assemble it. Once assembled the parts are firmly in place and then to place it back in the enormous box it arrived in going through the effort to return it at all it's easier to keep it and adjust to its dimensions or more accurately, mine.

Okay Accent Chair for the Price

 I wouldn't recommend this product for a living room. Seniors may want to think twice before purchasing this particular chair. On the plus side, it does have a nice mid-century look and is a nice accent to a bedroom. Is it worth the price? I would say yes

The chair in beige

 It is a nice looking chair and it is very comfortable. I am a psychologist so I literally sit in it for hours upon hours/day and it provides great support while not being too stiff. I think if you are looking for a simple, functional and inexpensive accent chair, this will fit the bill. I was worried how this color would look against white walls and it works nicely

Surprisingly good chair

 Definitely more comfortable than other small chairs that are similar to this. The fabric is really soft so I’m curious how it will hold up over time. The pattern is beautiful. Overall, these are a great buy and perfect if you are looking for a smaller chair
