Usage tip: cut an "X" in the cut side of the citrus to score the rind and extract the maximum amount of juice when you squeeze! If you use fresh citrus juice for anything, you're going to want this juicer. I consider myself a great home cook (and bartender) and I usually have one rule for devices in my kitchen: a gadget must do more than one thing to be worthy of my cupboard space.  Be reasonable when squeezing the handles to get the juice. This is not a device where you are trying to see how strong you are. If you try to crush the lemon you'll probably break the device. That's why we cut off some of the lemon rind first to focus on squeezing the lemon and not the lemon rind
