 That's a poor design. The first mode is the red LEDs which is a good decision because it protects your night vision. But then you have to cycle through white/flashing/SOS to turn off the flashlight, at which point your night vision is a distant memory. Better if you could press and hold to turn it off

The version I got didn't have any rubber plugs to protect the USB charging/power ports. That would be a good addition in a device that's going to be used out in the field

  What is a big issue is the fact that I now have to carry around a mini-USB cable if I want to take this on the road. I've almost eliminated all micro-USB cables in my life, since all but two of my devices are USB-C, and now I'm taking a step backwards to mini? Really? In 2021? Come on, now.
