Hamilton … you’ve done it

This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used, and I actually found this out by going in to buy a replacement tube of the 75g version! It is beautifully matte, moisturising, leaves no white cast, doesn’t sting my eyes, and now it is even more affordable!. 200g for $24.95 RRP (cheaper on sale right now, see photo above), might be the best price tag for any good face sunscreen out there. This competes with the 150ml version of the cancer council face day wear matte, however, this now has a lower price per ml at RRP.

**Face Day Wear Fluid Matte SPF50+**. **Texture:** It's a light, slightly runny lotion texture. I've uploaded a photo comparing it to LRP Anthelios Fluid and CC Face Day Wear Tinted Sunscreen (pink tube, shade medium) and would say its consistency is halfway between the two. Actually quite similar to the Azclear Action Day Moisturiser SPF30.

* Feel - I have oily skin so I need something lightweight that sinks in quickly. * Reapplication - I like to layer and reapply so I don't want anything that causes pilling. * Good filters - I generally trust that sunscreens sold in Australia provide stable broad spectrum protection but also am interested in learning about each individual filter (I have a [table by bookmarked on my phone so I can quickly reference it). Sunscreen for outdoor work

Cancer council active SPF50+ in the grey tube/pump. I sweat into my eyeballs sometimes during outdoor hikes and swimming and this stuff doesn’t budge or sting one bit. Another alternative is a zinc SPF but those aren’t as cosmetically elegant.

Best affordable sunscreen that’s not matte but not greasy/doesn’t pill?

The cancer council matte imo just means it doesn't give you that slimy look like say, Sports sunscreen does. It's fine and quite moisturising, works well under make up. Affordable enough to use liberally. I really like it.

Cancer council active SPF50+ in the grey tube/pump. It is thick yet non greasy and despite it being a chemical SPF does feel like it leaves a physical ‘barrier’ on the skin. Water resistant too. It’s very good and affordable.
