The Burton Rewind Women's Snowboard is a hard-charging freestyle board for those looking to progress all over the mountain and in the terrain park.  Hey guys, this is Steph with TheGoodRide.com, and here we are looking at the Burton Rewind. But I just took my first lap on it, and first impressions of the board were it's pretty flexible when you flex it on the ground, but when you're riding it, it doesn't feel flexible. So it gives the illusion before you actually ride the snowboard that it's going to be very playful, and they even mark it as playful on the Burton's flex scale, but when you're actually riding it, to me it felt pretty stable underfoot and not really playful

Burton Rewind 2020 Snowboard Review

I’m a low-intermediate Ice Coast rider on a tiny hill; currently ride a Gnu Chromatic but looking for a more camber-dominant board.  Thoughts on adding a K2 Cold Shoulder and/or Burton Rewind? 

More details: 

I started learning a few years ago on a 2018 Gnu Chromatic and would now consider myself a low intermediate rider: I can link all my turns (but they're still probably more skidded than carved) and can do so on the groomed "black diamond" trails at my small local Ice Coast hill; I’m sure our blacks would be an easy blue at many other places.  If I get lucky I’ll see a couple inches of powder on a few days a season, so having a pow board isn’t that important to me.  I don’t really have plans to go elsewhere besides my little hill, and also don’t consider myself to be particularly athletic or in the best shape.  I just like to make turns down the hill, though I have tried doing some butter tricks on occasion, with varying degrees of success (not much).

The Chromatic has served me pretty well for learning but I’d like to try a different board with more of a camber-dominant profile.  I’d also like to go a little faster; the Chromatic seems very slow on flat areas even after a fresh wax, though it could just be the rider’s skill.  We don’t have demo days anywhere near me and I have no friends who ride, so to try a board I will have to buy it.  

I did buy a 2021 K2 Cold Shoulder as an intermediate board but am wondering if I should return it and get a twin and/or softer board instead.  The 2022 Burton Rewind is appealing to me because it is a true-twin soft board that Burton markets as “hard-charging” to intermediate/advanced riders (Evo, however, lists it as a beginner board...).  But, maybe the Chromatic is already soft enough and I should stick with just the Cold Shoulder.  I could also keep the Cold Shoulder and add the Rewind, but perhaps there would be way too much overlap in my boards to make that a worthwhile decision.  My bindings are compatible with either board.  Does anyone have any insight?

 So it's seven inches difference between the nose and the tail set all the way back so you get three and a half inches set back on board which is actually quite a bit with the channel system you're able to have way more options there as far as that goes and then we'll check out the width of the board at the reference stance is about nine and three fourths under the foot nine and three fourths under the bindings and it also comes with a centered base yeah so I think that's it that is the Burton Rewind in a 146.
