 Thermocore is a really cool recycled insulation material that works really well. This jacket is Gore-Tex it is a two layer Gore-Tex material to keep you warm and dry for those long days. Gore is great for folks that aren't afraid to get out and ride during those storm days when it is wet and dumping snow. So this jacket is packed with features we're going to run you through the exterior features from top to bottom

 Starting at the top we have a helmet compatible hood that will work with any size helmet it's great for whether you ride regular or goofy moving your head left and right it does move and articulate with you well and is adjustable from two points. Moving down all the seams in this jacket are Gore seam taped which is nice that's another layer of waterproofing to keep water out of your seams. You have pit vent zips down here to dump heat when you get hot in the afternoon or should you find yourself hiking. In moving to the chest we actually have two chest dump pockets which is great and a lot of room to store gear in here extra lenses whatever you might have

 Moving down you'll notice this orange zipper here this is our thermo pocket this is a cool cool feature it is actually a pocket designed to keep your phone insulated believe it or not cold weather actually kills electronic batteries so this is here specifically to keep your phone lasting longer which is super nice. Working further down we have some interior mesh dump pockets these are great for extra lenses extra gloves whatever you might have and then down at the bottom you have our removable waist gaiters so this is really nice for keeping extra snow out and I honestly find that it does keep some heat into and does keep you warmer so there's three tabs here that will actually interface two Burton snow pants as well so you can really really secure that connection between your jacket and your pants there's also two points of snap here depending on how tight you would like it maybe depending on how much you're layered for that day so inside the jacket a lot of great stuff keeping you comfy keeping the snow out keeping you dry and your phone lasting longer. So in terms of fit for this jacket is definitely like a regular relaxed fit you'll find that with snowboard jackets you actually want them to be a little bit baggier for a couple reasons first of all the sleeve length should be pretty well about up to your thumbs because when you strap in and you're moving around that sleeves gonna kind of slide back and expose your wrist to the to the cold and snow so a little bit longer sleeves a little bit longer hem actually too to kind of protect that waist of your pant line and even you know sitting on a cold chairlift though that is normal so a great place to start when talking about sizing is if you know I wear a large t-shirt I should definitely be looking for a large jacket if you're still unsure about sizing be sure to reference the size chart on PeterGlenn.com and that's it for the men's 21-22 pillow line Gore-Tex jacket thank you for watching be sure to check this out in store at Peter Glenn or online at PeterGlenn

 Hand warmer pockets down here which are fleece lined should you find yourself like in the gondola gloves popped off super comfortable inside and on the far end over here we do have a pass pocket a lot of the resorts nowadays are using these RFID passes no longer the old-school wicket and ticket so you simply put your RFID pass in here wave your arm up against the side of the entrance to the lift and it'll pop open to let you ride super convenient. So now that we have the jacket open up we're gonna go through some of the interior features that are keeping you comfortable so the first thing you'll notice is this almost grid pattern on the inside of the jacket this is called our living lining and it does a lot what it sounds like it does it is a thermo regulating temperature that will essentially dump heat when you get hot so this the lining of the jacket will open up like mesh relieve that heat and then when it's cold like in the morning when you're getting your first chair it'll actually tighten up like a wetsuit and retain temperature so it does work with you to keep you at a comfortable temperature. The item is way bigger than what was indicated in the sizing guide. i will not buy another Burton clothing online until i tried them in store. the difference is way too big to ignore.

 You got these adjustable cinches on here which allow you to keep that hood nice and tight around your helmet if you want to have it tight around your helmet or say you just want to tighten it up without having a helmet on, you have your beanie on, you just want to have a nice little opening while keeping the rest of yourself insulated. You can do that. Now speaking of the insulation, which is the Thermacore Eco-Insulation, it's great because it keeps warmth in, regulates your heat, but also wicks moisture away from your body so you're not feeling muggy and like a swamp on the inside. It keeps you feeling nice and fresh

 On top of that, we got a two-way zipper on the actual front of the jacket and we got a nice breast pocket and we got Sherpa-lined collar so you got a lot of nice little features in here that are gonna make you feel cozy and warm without actually having to break the bank with like four different layers. You get it all in one layer, one outer fantastic layer. Let's start off with the Gore-Tex. Fantastic material keeps you weatherproof, waterproof, windproof, and it prevents you from getting all mucky and gross on the inside because it's breathable and it's durable so it's gonna last you a long time. Now speaking of getting mucky on the inside, say it's really, really hot or it's, you know, one of those last days where you're getting powder but the sun's out shining, you're overheating, you got these pit vents so you can unzip these or zip these up to regulate the amount of air coming in and they're mesh so you don't have to worry about stuff lying in there

 So got that going for you as well. All in all, I like this jacket. I think this pillow line blue color is pretty cool as well, but I think this is a pretty great insulated Gore-Tex jacket at this price point that would last a lot of years.

 You have two top pockets that fit my S22 Ultra pretty well, about three fingers up from there. You have another one here, so you could put your phone in either side. But knowing Burton, they probably, yep, they have a media pocket right here with some insulation, so it keeps your phone nice and warm. And my S22 Ultra slides in there and it's going to insulate that and keep your battery from draining and I really like that

 Welcome to The Good Ride, I'm James Biesty and I'm here with Gore-Tex Pillowline Jacket from Burton, an insulated jacket. I'm trying it on here for you so you might not have to. And to talk about the fit, this is a large, that's what I wear for jackets and I like this fit. It's not restrictive, even though it has a little bit of light insulation anywhere in the shoulders and the chest, which can sometimes be a problem for me in size larges because as you can see from my specs, they're all over the place, more of an extra large chest, but the rest of me is medium or large, so I like how this fits
