Inside one ear cup there is a loose part rattling around/the anc is producing a buffeting sound that makes the feature unusable

After years of usage, the ear pads leather started to fail about 3 years in, with the plastic housing breaking above the earcup a year later. This issue is known for these headphones.

The bass is extremely consistent and for the price the quality is not bad at all

Advertised for "bass you can feel", truly lives up to it. Amazing battery life, also works with a standard aux cord when the battery dies.

I have a small head. I have taken good care of these, but alas those little pieces broke on both sides, all 4 within weeks. I tried to glue them together but it didn't work.

Pricier model is made of more durable materials.

I had it 3 times replaced because all 3 broke at the same spot. the 4th one has lasted me almost 2 years now. also horribly strong pressure in the head, like a clamp.

Pixel Buds A-Series: Rich sound, iconic design, just $99

You can easily find wireless earbuds from Anker and Skullcandy in the $50 range that don’t have these issues. Losing some of the fancier tech like wireless charging is expected in a budget model, but connectivity shouldn’t be giving out. Saying "well connectivity issues are better than before" isn’t really acceptable.

I can't use the Skullcandy headphones, bc when I plug them in, the sound volume is too low. Is that because the impedance is too high? Are there maybe bluetooth headphones for my use-case that I can also hook up to my e-piano (with a cable).

The Skullcandy Crusher's are probably one of their better built pairs, and have a great 40 hour battery if I'm remembering right. You can for sure find them on sale.

These are so loud plugged in that I keep the volume on the low side haha. I did have some initial connection issues doing that, but resetting the headphones fixed that right away and I've had no problems. As a music lover, I've used so many headphones throughout the years, including from Beats (before Apple bought them out and they were crap back then), Skullcandy, Cowin, Sennheiser, JBL (they make better speakers than they do headphones tbh), Airpods, Airpods Pro and Max.

HD 6XX: The best I've heard so far.

(since I live in Australia add an additional week or two on top of the massdrop wait time) Then I saw these at a local audio store on sale it was like 300AUD (store normally sells them at 400AUD). Impulsively took them... and have not regretted it since. In my experience, the HD6XX is undeniably the best set of cans I've ever owned. Just everything about them fits my desired sound.

Preferred Music Genres: Spoken word audio/podcasts with sometimes quite or subtle background noises (Like Welcome to Nightvale) and general pop, pop-punk and country music. Past Gear Experience: Before over-ear got banned, I used an old Skullcandy pair I really liked. The name escapes me and they don't make it anymore. The most similar I found on their website in the Riff On Ear model.

My jibs that I've only had for 3 months are starting to wear out. $20 maximum. Not trying to buy anything fancy. I am not buying from Skullcandy again. I just want a pair that have good audio quality, will take a good beating, and last long.

Skullcandy uses Tile with some of their wireless buds. I’m glad different companies are going in this direction.

These $20 Skullcandy earbuds have lasted me 7+ years with daily use. They got me through highschool and college.

So I have had multiple pairs of earbuds, Skullcandy and otherwise, and almost all of them fail within a year at the most. But for some reason these ones have lasted 7+ years. Maybe it is just because I take good care of them (fold them up in a particular way) or luck, but these earbuds are awesome!

I listened to ice flows from subnautica below zero's soundtrack and it was torture(because most of the track has bass in it). Sometimes even with no bass you can hear the speakers struggling when I have the volume to max, my $50 Skullcandy headphones doesn't have rattling this severe. Problem two, sometimes it's like the sound quality goes down to Dollar store earbuds. It's like the music you're listening to is in the distance and not right on your ears, you can't feel any bass or boom through the headphones.
