Otherwise I give five stars for the way the product functions. Its only been a few days but seems sturdy and functions as it should. I suspect it will need some type of basic maintenance every month or so to keep it working properly since it has so many moving parts. Between the provided manual and multiple You tube videos you can get it operational and customized to your needs in no time

I give 1 Star for the quality control that allowed the unit to ship without a part, and less stars for the 1 hour 23 minute wait to get to a support person to try and get the part. For some reason (perhaps the cost) i expected better support from a brand like Bow flex. I was still not able to get through, by the way, so i will try again when I have nothing else going on and can sit on hold for that long.

Basically, the M6 and the M9 are like if you paid 50% more to twice as much more for a car so that it would have a fancy dash board you'd install yourself via your phone (the M6) or that would have an all-digital display (the M9) but then had to pay $19.99/mo. in subscription fees for them to work (the $10/mo. rate is only introductory), and if you didn't pay the subscription, most of all of everything you paid all that extra money for wouldn't work at all but just sit there in front of you mocking you, telling you, "I'm not working even though you paid a buttIoad of money for me," and ever cajoling you to sign up to pay $19

 I won't mind it because I'm still young enough that I've got decent knees and can handle it, but for my mom, who is a foot shorter than me, each step is ginormous, even deeper than if you climb regular stairs two at a time, which I do but my little mom never does.

Not like an elyptica, more like a stairclimber-- WITH SUPER DEEP STEPS!

Overall the M8 is a great machine that delivers on its promises. It’s a terrific thing to have in these isolated, quarantined times - good looking and sturdily built too. I’d give the M8 an 8/10.

Please read the reviews carefully as they have used the same product for all the models. The other high end models might be better. We have decided to return the M3.

Several flaws in M3 model. Please be careful

This is a terrific piece of equipment with a couple puzzling flaws. But, first the good:

Great step-like exercises that is easy on your knees like an elliptical - but a couple glaring flaws

 We tighten the bolts and oil the glide bars once a week to keep the noise level low and the machine feeling solid. I used an inexpensive elliptical everyday for 45min on average for 4months before it broke and I upgraded to the Max trainer. Only frustration so far is that I have not found an Apple Watch fitness tracker that matches the calorie burn that the machine is stating. I’m 38 years old and this machine gets my heart rate up to 163-166bpm on the mid setting and reads 610cals burned in 40min

Solid workout.  Not easy for beginners/must start w/ small WO.
