* BOSS DD-3: simple delay, with enough range for my use. Can get a pseudo-reverb sound, slapback, long ass "ammbieaaant" shit if you're into that. The tone knob (boosts below 300 Hz to the left, and boosts above 300 Hz to the right) and the comp/direct volume knobs are where this shines. Additionally, with the 2 internal dipswitches available the amount of settings in this compressor going from full transparency all the way to heavy squish is insane.

Danger if you buy the RC3 you won't be able to put your guitar down. The extension pedal to control it is really nice (Boss FS-6) cuts down on bending over time. a Boss RC-3 (or similar in the single footswitch range) is a good shout, and can be found for reasonable 2nd hand prices. you can’t go wrong with boss’ user friendliness and build quality, and they tend to have manuals on their website, even for discontinued products.

I have read a lot of the reviews on this item. I also read that the pedal has some noise to it. I am not sure if noise is the best way to describe it.
