The Boss Compression Sustainer is one of the most overlooked and underrated pedals of all time. I’ve used it on virtually every recording I’ve ever made and on multiple instruments for the last 20 years.

So I've been trying to make this travel guitar actually sound good, and as I was editing this video I realized that I got my best tones when really utilizing the Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer. It's an easy pedal to overdo but I think it really works with this guitar, especially since this thing has no pickups lmao.

Unless you're playing a very specific type of music that requires compression like chickin pickin or you don't have a decent OD pedal (what guitarist doesn't) I don't think you need this. Seems to have alot of poping when I pluck the strings even with the tone and attack Knobs turned down! It does sustain the note and the rise and fall of the volume seems to be lessened. I would not order it again knowing what I know now!
