Story is weak. Filled with Mary Sue characters. It doesn't have the depth of previous Borderlands titles. The humor has lost a step as well. Game play is on par with previous titles. There are numerous trips to Sanctuary that serve very little purpose than to inject dialog from peripheral characters...

Borderlands 3 came to steam ~~a whole year~~ half a year after releasing in EGS, and it turned out to be a hot mess thanks to the fact epic is actively against any dialogue between users and developers. Every single session I faced a new game-breaking bug, from the bullet count disappearing to the game just simply not connecting me to the host. That is not a state a game is supposed to be in a year after release. Fuck epic and fuck every single company getting in bed with them.

It’s region specific for EU. Just fyi. You can’t purchase DLC and use it due to this. Well, if you live in the USA. So keep that in mind. I ordered this game for a friend of mine and the copy he recieved was a European copy, which we only discovered after he had purchased the dlc separately and learned he couldn't access it from the game menu because his disc wasn't in the right region.

Borderlands 3: Can't finish because played Tales From the Borderlands. Was spoiled.
